OUR MISSION
SKATT is here to enable everyone, from hobby enthusiasts to professionals, to access the best tools when they need them most. With the highest average Google review score, we have proven our customers recognize the quality of our service. More than 100 reviews have confirmed our affordable prices, through which we are trying to reduce our users’ expenses when they’re under the greatest financial strain.
It is precisely because of the community we have built that we are launching a crowdfunding campaign where, for the first time, anyone can participate in the development of our business. In addition to receiving rewards for the support you provide, you also have the opportunity to actively participate in the development of the business itself! Everyone who joins the campaign will be able to propose locations for new branches, suggest tools to equip them, and contribute additional ideas for business development.
Currently we have one operational branch and one in the process of relocation. Our goal is to open at least two more offices by spring and, with your assistance, up to 5 new branches in 2025!
GOALS
The next branch is near you!

Raise funds for opening the next branch near you and popularize the tool rental model by including as many people as possible. We want to get feedback from future clients: required locations, necessary tools and equipment at those locations, and other ideas. With the realized financial moment and feedback, we will continue to grow.
To show our gratitude for your investment in our vision, we have developed a (perhaps overly) detailed system of over 22 benefits assigned to each level of investment, which are explained in detail at the bottom of the page.
The branches for which we already have feedback from current and future clients are Viškovo – Rijeka and Jankomir – Zagreb, which we are planning to open at the start of 2025.
This will bring us closer to all our users in the coastal area and Rijeka, our users from the western part of Zagreb, as well as all users coming from Samobor, Zaprešić, Krapina, and the surrounding areas.
All offices will, along with regular working hours, be equipped with our SKATTomats enabling 24/7 renting of all smaller tools.

How we started
As with many success stories, in the chaos of the pandemic, I started from the garage in every sense of the word. In the morning I’d go to the gym, work a manual labor job that enabled me to answer rental reservations on the phone, in the afternoon I’d collect the tools from the garage to make deliveries all over town, and in the evening go to McDonald’s to work on the website.
Today we have grown due to three key features:
- Listening to our clients’ needs.
- Careful planning of future investments.
- Reinvesting time and money into improving service quality.
Today one of the most common requests from clients is for new branch locations closer to them and increasing the number of available tools. To speed up that process we have decided to start this crowdfunding campaign.

- COO: Nikolina Šimac – operational strength, responsible for everyday functioning of the company and always focused on client satisfaction.
- Stefani Zetović – No other companies so small have invested in their own accounting, which goes to show how much we care that everything is in order, both for the clients and the operation of the company. Stefani takes the lead here.
- Marijan Pavletić – responsible for our webshop as well as the future Viškovo office. Extremely dedicated to the complex background process, makes sure everything on the websites, documents, and newsletters is easily accessible to our clients.
- S.G. – a colleague of many varied interests, of steady hand and spirit, contributes to the quality working atmosphere, calmly makes deliveries or fixes the tools, and is always engaged in work.

Social responsibility of SKATT
Analysis of hundreds of reviews has shown that clients praise our pricing. We strive to keep prices low, which, together with a varied spectrum of additional benefits, enables a high quality of service at a fair price, greatly appreciated by our clients.
Tool rental greatly decreases the need for unnecessary purchases and irrational consumerism, decreasing CO2 influence on the planet and having a positive financial effect on the community.
Coworking space encourages the DIY culture of repair and restoration of furniture and other products, which also has a positive effect on both the planet and the budgets of individuals and families.
Many of SKATT’s employees are humanitarian-oriented in their private lives, so all together they have over 100 blood donations, more than 1000 volunteer hours, and have taken part in many valuable initiatives.
During the Zagreb earthquake we offered free tool rentals to those afflicted in order to lower the cost of recovery.
Every year we help associations focused on social work or animal protection through small donations.
