About me

It’s an understatement to say that gasoline runs in the Pokos family’s blood. Ivan (my father) dominated the Croatian auto and karting scene from 1984 to 2018. After numerous championship titles in karting, circuit, and hill climb disciplines, he decided to retire to focus on my career. I started my driving career at the age of 5 in karting, and for the next 13 years, with the help of Ivan and the support team, I achieved success on the Croatian, European, and global karting scenes.

The year 2022 marked the beginning of my transition from small wheels to large ones, so this was my first season in rallying. We embarked on the entire project ambitiously with high expectations, but despite excellent times and some notable results, including winning in the junior category at the 23rd INA Rally Poreč and successfully finishing the WRC Croatia Rally as the youngest crew, the race that caused me to miss my high school senior trip, the season was challenging due to rookie mistakes stemming from a lack of experience that takes time to accumulate.

I started the 2023 season at the 2nd Quattro River Rally, securing my first victory in the two-wheel drive class and the junior category and finishing second overall among the Croatians.

After the success in Karlovac, the biggest race of the year came next: the WRC Croatia Rally 2023. We had a good start, but unfortunately, we suffered a power steering failure on the very first stage. Vili (my co-driver) and I endured the entire first day without it. At the evening service, we managed to fix the issue, and on the second day, we set out to make up for lost time. We performed really well, winning two stages and significantly reducing the gap to the leaders in our class. Our goal on the last day was to finish and secure 2nd place among the Croatians, which we ultimately achieved.

After the successful first two races, the next in line was the Velenje Rally. Unfortunately, luck was not on my side, and we had an accident on the second stage of the race. After assessing the damage, it was determined to be significant, and due to the need for car repairs and a lack of financial resources, we had to pause the rest of the season.

Why WRC3

WRC3 is an extremely competitive class where the best young pilots gather to showcase their driving skills. By securing a spot in this class, I aim to refine my talent, gain international recognition, and pave the way for the highest level in WRC, the pinnacle of rally racing.

The plan is to participate in five World Championship events: the Sweden Rally, the Croatia Rally, the Vodafone Rally de Portugal, the Orlen 80th Rally Poland, and the Central European Rally.

Additionally, I plan to compete in the Croatian Championship and selected races in Slovenia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

The Dream

To compete in the 2024 WRC season, I need your support and assistance. Your contributions to this crowdfunding campaign will be allocated to the following:

Vehicle and Maintenance: Acquiring a rally-ready car and ensuring it remains in top condition throughout the season.

Entry Fees: Registering for WRC Rally3 events and covering associated costs.

Travel and Accommodation: Reaching race tracks and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the team.

Ako darovať (je to jednoduché!)

Na úspešné vykonanie platby je potrebné:
1. Ak používate prenosný počítač, vyberte požadovanú sumu platby na pravom okraji stránky kampane alebo vyberte ľubovoľnú sumu v záhlaví stránky, a ak používate mobilnú verziu, vyberte požadovanú sumu na začiatku alebo prejdite na koniec stránky kampane;
2. zadajte požadované osobné údaje do formulára;
3. vyberte požadovaný spôsob platby:
a) kartou Mastercard®, Maestro® alebo Visa (možnosť Monri);
b) Kryptomena cez PayCek;
c) KEKS Pay;
d) Airchash;
e) Všeobecný platobný doklad alebo internetový či mobilný banking.
4. potvrdiť platbu podľa ďalších pokynov platformy.

Po vykonaní platby je potrebné počkať určitý čas, kým sa platba je spracovaná a zaznamenané na stránke kampane. Platby uskutočnené prostredníctvom všeobecného platobného dokladu alebo internetového/mobilného bankovníctva sa zaznamenajú do 1 až 2 pracovných dní a platby uskutočnené prostredníctvom kariet, kryptomien, Aircash alebo KEKS Pay do 1 až 12 hodín.
